An opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to support critical care patients during night shifts in the Green Valley, AZ area. This contract role offers a structured schedule with guaranteed hours, ideal for nurses comfortable working in dynamic hospital settings and adapting to different clinical units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float to sister facilities within Tucson, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and Emergency Department units as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing Cerner electronic medical records (preferred).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Arizona nursing license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience.
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and float to multiple clinical settings.
• Commitment to professional appearance: scrub attire must be solid colors without prints.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• 36 hours guaranteed over a 13-week contract.
• Rotation includes 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week.
• Weekend commitment requires 5 weekend shifts over a 6-week period.
• No on-call obligation; however, first to float within assigned facilities.
