Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of ICU patients
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff, providing mentorship and support as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate quality care and optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in making decisions related to patient care and staff supervision
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines
• Accurately document all aspects of care, maintaining precise patient records
• For Float Pool nurses: properly clock in to the specific unit where you are assigned to work

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in an ICU setting, proficient in advanced nursing procedures and monitoring
• Strong leadership abilities and prior supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency with patient assessment, critical care interventions, and workload prioritization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Commitment to professional development and adherence to best practices in patient safety
