Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level nursing care for ICU patients requiring advanced interventions.
• Utilize critical thinking and communication skills to perform procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
• Operate advanced ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse technicians and unit secretaries.
• Float as needed to the ICU overflow unit, maintaining flexible support across care areas.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with ICU nursing experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities.
• Ability to work a 36-hour week with every other weekend scheduling.
• Comfortable wearing required Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs in accordance with dress code.
