Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RN license in the State of Georgia, in good standing
  • Prior experience in ICU or critical care environments preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
  • Familiarity with ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and teamwork skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, individualized nursing care within ICU settings
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care providers
  • Champion the patients voice while adhering to organizational policies and service excellence initiatives
  • Uphold the highest standards in quality and safety, influenced by the Professional Practice Model
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and evidence-based research
  • Support families and patients through the complexities of intensive care
