Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This position offers a contract role with a schedule designed to balance professional duties and personal time, focusing on inpatient care across various units including stepdown and medical/surgical areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, stepdown, and med/surg units.
  • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to ensure personalized and attentive care.
  • Participate in the floating requirement across inpatient areas, adapting to different units as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment as necessary.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with ICU nursing experience.
  • Ability to adapt to floating between inpatient units.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
