Provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting, supporting critically ill children with complex heart conditions. This contract position requires a dedicated RN with at least two years of experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU nursing, delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to pediatric patients in the cardiovascular ICU and stepdown units.
- Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios based on patient status: 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU, 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and physician orders.
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU nursing.
- Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
