A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced ICU Registered Nurses with a focus on pediatric cardiovascular care. This role involves caring for critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment where expertise and attention to detail directly impact patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular ICU and stepdown units
- Monitor patient conditions closely, adjust care plans as necessary, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Manage complex interventions and advanced cardiac care protocols
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to all regulatory and hospital standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiovascular ICU experience required
- Valid certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS mandatory
- Ability to manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit status
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills essential for fast-paced ICU settings
