An exceptional opportunity is available for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide comprehensive, critical care to patients requiring acute monitoring and intervention. In this dynamic contract position, you will deliver expert nursing care for individuals with unstable, life-threatening conditions requiring constant vigilance and advanced clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use advanced nursing knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the ICU
- Deliver intensive care for patients who have experienced trauma, shock, or other acute medical conditions
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to any change in condition
- Supervise and provide guidance to other nursing staff, utilizing leadership and expert clinical judgment
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accuracy and detail in documentation and patient care records
- Support and educate patients and their families throughout the care process, ensuring compassion and clarity
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures and ICU equipment
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and time-management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and direct nursing support staff confidently and compassionately
