A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in home health care to undertake a full-time 13-week contract in Summit, MS. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing interventions within patients' homes, ensuring compassionate and individualized care while working in a structured, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled in-home nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and patient education
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and accurately complete OASIS documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes or updates to the clinical team
- Manage a full-time schedule with daily visits, maintaining punctuality and reliability
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum one year of recent home health RN experience
- Proficient in OASIS documentation and skilled in performing home health assessments
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase strongly preferred
- Ability to manage daily visit schedules effectively
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license are essential
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- On-call availability may be required
