A dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home health experience is sought for a 13-week full-time contract opportunity in Brookhaven, MS. This role requires a skilled clinician with proficiency in OASIS documentation, confident in managing both patient care and a structured schedule. The position offers a chance to deliver compassionate, individualized in-home care while collaborating with a professional care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care and interventions during in-home visits
- Perform thorough patient assessments and complete accurate OASIS documentation on time
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to implement care plans
- Deliver wound care, medication management, patient education, and ongoing disease monitoring
- Communicate patient condition updates promptly to clinical staff
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent home health RN experience
- Strong proficiency with OASIS documentation is required
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase software is highly preferred
- Ability to manage full-time, structured schedule including daily patient visits
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities likely
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
