Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience, critical access center or ER background preferred
- Current RN license with certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CPI/MOAB, TNCC, NRP, and PALS preferred
- Strong IV skills, chest tube setup, triage, wound care, splints/casting assistance, and physical assessment abilities
- Experience with Meditech EMR and patient registration beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ER and medical-surgical patients (1 RN:3 patients ratio)
- Perform ER registration duties during midnight shift using Meditech
- Administer medications and monitor patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, cardiac rule outs, and diabetes
- Collaborate with CNAs and other support staff to ensure quality patient care
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM8:00 PM or 8:00 PM8:00 AM
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- Holiday coverage every other holiday
