Schedule/Hours:
- Contract-based position with flexible scheduling depending on department needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Recent experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse.
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in electronic medical records and emergency protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with acute and emergent needs.
- Perform comprehensive triage assessments, monitor vital signs, and initiate life-saving interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers.
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document interventions, assessments, and care clearly and accurately in the medical record.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices for emergency care.
