Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based position with flexible scheduling depending on department needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Recent experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and emergency protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with acute and emergent needs.
• Perform comprehensive triage assessments, monitor vital signs, and initiate life-saving interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Document interventions, assessments, and care clearly and accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices for emergency care.
