Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an emergency room environment
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong triage, assessment, and crisis-management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and emergency protocols
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate and thorough nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess, prioritize, and respond to patient needs based on condition severity
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage advanced life support interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and supportive care environment
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
