An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to provide critical care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality emergency nursing services during night shifts in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Located in Richford, Vermont, this role is based in a quaint community situated in the picturesque Northeast Kingdom, known for its natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere. The hospital serves as a vital healthcare hub with a 25-bed Critical Access facility, offering an intimate and impactful place to practice emergency nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients with diverse acute health needs
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, maintaining high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
- Participate in ongoing education sessions to maintain best practices and clinical skills
- Support hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- 3-5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work nights and every other weekend
- Commitment to continuing education and patient safety protocols
Schedule:
- Night shift hours
- Every other weekend work required
- Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly
