A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Emergency Department care to provide critical patient care within a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Center setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN license eligible for or held in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Emergency Department at a Level 1 trauma center, or 2 years at a Level 2 trauma center (must be noted on resume)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, and NIHSS (may be obtained prior to start)
• Experience working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments with trauma, pediatric, stroke, and burn patients preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication and clinical skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care across all age groups, applying comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care within the emergency department's 68-bed unit
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical standards
• Utilize clinical expertise to maintain high standards of care consistent with hospital mission and values
• Contribute to maintaining patient safety and quality through adherence to established protocols

Additional Details:

• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours (indicate preference upon application)
• No block scheduling accommodations; weekend hours as needed
• Flu vaccination or hospital-approved exemption required; declinations not accepted
• No call responsibilities
• Casual scrub attire with black scrub color requirement
