An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room (ER) expertise to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This contract role requires a skilled professional to manage acute conditions, deliver prompt medical interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients in the emergency department promptly and accurately
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by physician orders
- Triage patients according to the severity of their conditions
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations to stabilize patients
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently under high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
