Job Description

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Emergency Department experience to provide critical care in a busy urban trauma center. The assignment is located in Ozark, MO, supporting a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center with a strong reputation for exemplary patient care and safety. The position is contract-based with a 13-week duration, requiring dedication and clinical expertise in trauma and emergency nursing.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA certified)
  • TNCC and NIHSS certification required prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year experience in ED at a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center (must be indicated on resume)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high patient volume environment preferred
  • Strong human relations and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary departments to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and uphold professional accountability
  • Utilize nursing processes consistent with state Nurse Practice Act and organizational standards
  • Work primarily day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week schedule
  • Adhere to facilitys dress code and safety protocols
