An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Emergency Room care. This role focuses on providing excellent care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will work alongside a dedicated clinical team, using your expertise to assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in urgent situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with EMR systems and emergency department protocols
Schedule:
- Contract assignment (duration discussed during interview)
- Shifts and hours will be provided by the facility during the interview and onboarding process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients presenting with diverse and acute conditions
- Triage patients effectively, prioritizing care based on critical need
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Safely administer medications and carry out physician orders
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the medical record
- Participate in emergency situations such as trauma care, cardiac events, and other urgent incidents
- Provide patient and family education and support as needed
