Job Description

Deliver high-quality emergency care by utilizing your critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills in a contract assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role is shift-based and calls for expertise in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in alignment with state regulations and established hospital protocols. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes, supervise patient care actions, and maintain current clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position
  • Full shift accountability required

Qualifications:

  • Active WY Registered Nurse license or current multi-state RN license (attach license to resume)
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
  • American Heart Association certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (attach certifications with application)
  • Strong ability to prioritize care and delegate based on team education and experience
  • Willingness to float between multiple campus locations as needed by patient census

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care for Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process
  • Anticipate, plan, and safely deliver care in coordination with the healthcare team
  • Uphold clinical competencies through ongoing learning and skills validation
  • Direct and supervise assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery
  • Delegate tasks and set care priorities to sustain quality standards
