Provide critical care to Emergency Room patients as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced environment located in Fort Washakie, WY. This contract position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care following established protocols and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process aligned with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Apply critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership skills to anticipate patient needs and ensure safe care delivery.
- Maintain and update clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks to nursing staff based on their education and experience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- May float between nearby campuses based on patient census to meet care demands.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license (must be attached with application).
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Room nursing.
- Required certifications (through American Heart Association): ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (all certifications must be attached).
- Strong critical thinking and leadership capabilities in acute care settings.
