Job Description

Experienced emergency room registered nurses are needed to support an acute care setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your ER expertise and provide compassionate care to patients during critical moments.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts each week

Qualifications:

  • Current and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in an emergency room setting
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess incoming patients, prioritizing care based on severity of needs
  • Administer medications and carry out physician orders accurately
  • Monitor patient condition and document care thoroughly in medical records
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
  • Respond to emergent situations with swift, effective action
  • Educate patients and families regarding care, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and all relevant healthcare regulations

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
