Job Description
Deliver exceptional emergency nursing care within a dynamic acute care environment, providing triage, treatment, and support to trauma and emergency patients of all ages. As a registered nurse specializing in emergency care, you will play a crucial role in a fast-paced department dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position
- Shifts and contract length to be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum one year of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage varying levels of patient acuity and complex clinical situations
- Proficient in emergency triage, rapid patient assessment, and delivering trauma care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients experiencing acute illness, trauma, and emergency conditions
- Perform comprehensive triage, rapid assessment, and timely interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document care, assessments, ongoing evaluations, and treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Respond efficiently to life-threatening situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Ensure patient safety and uphold the highest standards of emergency nursing practice
