Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license, in good standing
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Triage, monitor, and treat patients experiencing a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
- Supervise and guide assigned nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring cohesive and efficient care delivery
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in accordance with policies and regulations
- Prioritize patient safety and maintain strict infection control standards
- Utilize independent judgment and professional discretion in challenging clinical situations
