Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Proficient with emergency protocols, triage procedures, and rapid response
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, ensuring timely and accurate assessment and intervention
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed in consultation with physicians and advanced practice providers
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and interventions using EMR systems
• Triage patients effectively, prioritizing care based on acuity and need
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in resuscitation and trauma care as necessary
