Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department.
- Triage patients accurately and efficiently, addressing both physical and psychosocial needs.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, mid-level providers, allied health staff, patients, and families.
- Monitor patient condition continuously and respond quickly to any changes.
- Provide leadership to Emergency Department technicians, registration staff, and other allied health personnel.
- Maintain thorough communication with all team members regarding patient status and test results.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
- Current Montana State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC required or to be obtained within six months of hire.
- Proficient with emergency nursing principles, IV skills, and operation of medical equipment.
- Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (11:00 AM 11:00 PM), including some weekends.
