Job Description

Deliver professional nursing care in a dynamic dialysis setting located near Houston, TX. This 13-week travel contract position offers a chance to collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include conducting thorough nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team in delivering patient-centered care
  • Perform nursing assessments and assist with diagnostic exams and treatment procedures
  • Educate patients regarding their care plans and treatment processes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current nursing license (RN) with experience in dialysis and nephrology
  • Strong IV skills and expertise in port access techniques
  • Ability and willingness to calculate and mix medications accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule and Contract Details:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • 13-week travel contract
