This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. The role involves working with complex adult cardiac surgery, thoracic, and vascular patients, providing specialized care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years CVOR RN experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency with scrubbing at level 3 or 4 on skills list
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures and patient care, including complex cases such as heart transplants, ECMO, and minimally invasive thoracic surgeries
- Ability to manage call shifts including 2-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule
Schedule / Hours:
- Rotating day/evening shifts with options including either:
- Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts (06:30-14:30 / 14:30-22:30 and 06:30-18:30 / 10:30-22:30)
- Or five 8-hour shifts (06:30-14:30 / 14:30-22:30)
- Call shifts never exceed 12 hours, with weekend call scheduled as either Friday/Saturday nights or Saturday/Sunday days
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver expert perioperative nursing care to adult cardiac surgery patients, including those undergoing CABG, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repair, and thoracic interventions
- Coordinate care for high-acuity cases involving vascular procedures such as EVAR and carotid endarterectomy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Uphold infection control and compliance with facility standards, including flu vaccination requirements
