An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. This role focuses on delivering high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The position operates on a contract basis and offers a consistent weekday schedule with valuable on-call experience.
Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule:
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- On-call rotation: one week every third week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain sterile technique and operate specialized equipment in the CVOR setting
- Document patient care accurately and promptly
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing or relevant perioperative environments
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient care protocols
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and respond to emergencies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
