A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to provide skilled nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position offers a structured schedule with a balance of weekdays and call responsibilities, ideal for professionals seeking to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage surgical equipment.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient education and support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical protocols.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in the CVOR setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and intraoperative protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to respond effectively during on-call periods.
Schedule:
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- One week of call every third week.
