An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience to provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract role offers a structured schedule with the chance to apply critical skills in cardiac surgery and patient care.
Location: Antioch, Tennessee
Antioch is a vibrant community located near Nashville, offering a blend of suburban comfort and metropolitan amenities. It boasts a friendly atmosphere, convenient access to healthcare facilities, shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Call duty one week every third week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular patients.
- Prepare, assist, and monitor patients during CVOR procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and care quality.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document care and communicate patient status with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in CVOR nursing.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and equipment.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently during scheduled hours and call rotations.
