Job Description

Provide critical care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries in a high-acuity setting. This role requires a registered nurse with specialized experience in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to deliver expert nursing care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proven experience in CVICU nursing or related critical care areas.
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills focused on cardiovascular patient care.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage post-operative cardiovascular patients.

  • Interpret cardiac monitors and other advanced equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, care, and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
