Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and cardiovascular status continuously.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and cardiac events, providing critical interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and post-care procedures.
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proven experience in CVICU or related critical care setting.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team.
  • BLS, ACLS certification required.

Contract Type: This is a contract position offering flexible employment duration with potential for extension based on facility needs.
