Schedule:

• Shifts will be structured to meet patient care needs in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience
• Active certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS
• Demonstrated ability to work with children in ICU and stepdown settings
• Ability to effectively manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 in ICU, and 1:3 in stepdown/non-ICU areas
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, family-centered care to pediatric patients in the CVICU
• Monitor and assess complex cardiovascular cases with flexibility for both ICU and stepdown assignments
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, implement care plans, and support families
• Accurately document interventions, assessments, and patient progress in accordance with clinical and legal standards
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and use advanced life support skills as needed
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff
