This role promises extensive exposure to advanced procedures in a dynamic, 7-bed cath lab with a diverse, primarily adult patient base. Youll work alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team, including nurse managers, RTs, hospitalists, intensivists, NPs, fellows, and cardiologists, increasing your knowledge and confidence in specialized cardiac care. The facilitys progressive environment ensures access to cutting-edge technology and current best practices, offering valuable experience that will enrich your resume and long-term career.
Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 shifts
- Weekend rotation: on-call only (1-2 weeknight call shifts per week; 1-2 call weekends per 6-week cycle, with a required 30-minute response time)
- Schedule set in 6-week increments
- Holiday coverage based on department needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab RN experience
- Prefer >1 year ICU background; will consider 2-3 years of cardiac stepdown experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- RCIS or CI certification preferred, but not required
- Strong skills in patient sedation and cardiovascular monitoring
- Experience with Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, McKesson, GE, and Siemens technology
Responsibilities:
- Care for mainly adult patients with cardiac diagnoses
- Monitor, sedate, and support patients during procedures
- Participate in a coordinated team for both scheduled and emergency cases
- Potential float to University Hospital or EP Lab if needed

$2,043 - $2,235/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
