A contracted position is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role requires expertise in providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures.
- Prepare patients for catheterization, including pre-procedural assessments and education.
- Manage post-procedural care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment readiness.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization techniques.
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize potential complications.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
