Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am 5:30 pm
- On-call requirements: One weekday call (5:50 pm 7:00 am) per week; One 24-hour weekend call (7:00 am 7:00 am, Saturday or Sunday) every five weeks
- Call response time: Within 30 minutes
In this role at a level 3 trauma center, youll collaborate with experienced professionals and encounter a variety of perioperative challenges. Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered nursing license
- Previous experience in operating room/ORT nursing (travel experience a plus)
- Ability to manage on-call shifts and rapid responses effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality care throughout the surgical process
- Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative team members to optimize outcomes
- Prepare and maintain an aseptic environment before, during, and after procedures
- Document patient responses and interventions accurately
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow all safety protocols
