This opportunity calls for a skilled CVOR Tech to support a diverse surgical team in a dynamic operating room environment. The role focuses on assisting with a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neurovascular, ophthalmic, gynecological, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial surgeries, and trauma cases as part of a level 1 trauma center. Experience with high-technology equipment such as Da Vinci robotic surgical systems and involvement in complex transplant procedures (liver, kidney, heart) will enhance your contribution to patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: NBSTSA Certification or a minimum of 10 years experience as a Surgical Technician At least 2 years of OR experience or experience working in a Level 1 trauma center preferred Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Responsibilities: Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and ready Scrub and circulate during various surgical procedures, maintaining adherence to aseptic techniques Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to provide smooth and efficient patient care Support the upkeep and proper use of surgical technology, including robotic systems Respond effectively to emergency trauma cases, providing critical support in a fast-paced setting
