Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled CVOR Tech to support a busy operating room in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is based in Pittsford, NY, within a facility known for handling a diverse patient population and a broad range of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled surgical technology support in the operating room, including scrub and circulating duties.
  • Assist in surgeries across multiple specialties such as orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma cases.
  • Support operations involving advanced technology, including two DaVinci robots used by multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in the transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart surgeries.
  • Collaborate efficiently with surgical teams in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • NBSTSA Certification or at least 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician.
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience or experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
  • Ability to perform scrub and circulating duties effectively.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
