Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse Technician for a contract position in Chatham, IL. This specialized role requires proficiency in assisting with cardiovascular surgeries and supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, particularly within cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the CVOR environment, including surgical instruments and equipment.
Assist surgeons and surgical staff during cardiovascular operations.
Monitor and document patient status and surgical progress.
Adhere to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

Current nursing license with experience in the cardiovascular operating room.
Thorough knowledge of CVOR surgical procedures and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Effective communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.
Prior experience as a CVOR Tech is highly preferred.
