Job Description:

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, including gamma cameras, SPECT/CT, and SPECT/X.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.

Shift:

  • TBD

Requirements:

  • Active certification by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Current Illinois State License for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification preferred.
  • Proven experience working with EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
