Description:

  • Appropriately administer radiopharmaceuticals when required
  • Review each examination for technical accuracy and present completed examination to radiologist
  • Maintain adequate records in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Assist with equipment calibration
  • Perform required quality controls on equipment
  • Perform QA activities/monitors as required
  • Responsible for scheduling
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and coworkers

Experience/Education:

  • Successful completion of Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Minimum one year full-time experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology including didactic experience equivalent to the curriculum recommended by the AART preferred
  • AART License
  • Must be knowledgeable in all phases of nuclear medicine and PET exams for all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
  • Must be knowledgeable in radiation safety measures
  • Must be BLS certified

Job Type:Contract 14 weeks-8 hr Day Shift

Required experience:

  • Clinical Nuclear Medicine Technology: 2 years

Required licenses or certifications:

  • BLS
  • AART
