Special education teacher needed - Boston, MA

Sunbelt is currently seeking passionate and dedicated special education teachers for the 2023/2024 school year to join our team in the Boston, MA area. The ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse learners and will possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Work collaboratively with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure students' needs are met
Use evidence-based practices to facilitate academic, social, and emotional growth for students with disabilities
Provide direct instruction and support in small group and individual settings
Monitor and track student progress to ensure effective interventions

Requirements:

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
REQUIRED: MA State Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
REQUIRED: IVP fingerprint clearance card
At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be a U.S Citizen
