Job Description

Our school district is interviewing to hire Special Education Teachers to serve as our ARD Committee Managers. These Teachers will not work in classrooms.

Location: Southlake, TX
Job Duties:

Full Time | 40 hours
ASAP –EOSY + option to extend 23/24 SY
Scheduling and mailing notices for ARD committee meetings.
Gathering relevant student data, such as, grades, attendance, behavior reports, progress monitoring data, universal screening results, previous and current evaluation reports.
Preparing and finalizing required ARD committee paperwork.
Facilitating the ARD committee meeting.
Sending completed Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents to the parents or guardians and archiving in accordance with LEA procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
Active Special Education Teaching License in Texas
Experience in ARD committee management not required

Hourly Pay Starting at $33 an hour +, negotiable based on experience
