Sunbelt is seeking a passionate educator who loves working with elementary school students in a self-contained classroom and holds an Adapted Curriculum License for North Carolina, we want to hear from you!

Job Details:
Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Near Charlotte, North Carolina
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

Must be able to work from 8/3/2023 - 5/28/2024
Create a supportive and engaging learning environment in a self-contained classroom for elementary school students with diverse needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with the adapted curriculum
Customize instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of students
Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions to promote academic and social-emotional growth

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid teaching license with an Adapted Curriculum endorsement for North Carolina
Experience working with elementary school students in a self-contained special education setting
