Job Description

A local school district is now partnered with VocoVision to find qualified independent contractors for a telehealth position. This position needs an adept and experienced school Speech-Language Pathologist, as it serves students in Virginia located in rural areas via VocoVision's free teletherapy platform. If you are an SLP with at least 2 years of experience working in a public school setting and prior teletherapy experience, see more information below.

Requirements:

Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Possess a valid Virginia state SLP licensure.
Hold ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
Preferred experience within educational environments, including special education.
Proficiency in online video conferencing and technology.
Successfully complete a basic technical screening.
Reliable Wi-Fi access and an updated computer (Please note that Chromebooks and iPads are not compatible with VocoVision's tech screening and software).

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and customize treatment plans.
Deliver impactful therapy sessions via our secure online video conferencing platform.
Seamlessly collaborate with school staff, parents, and professionals to nurture students' speech and language development.
Actively contribute to IEP meetings and goal-setting.
