Sunbelt Staffing needs to fill 2 full-time or part-time SPED teaching positions near the Oak Lawn, IL area for the upcoming school year. The SPED job will involve working with students grades 5-8. Candidates must have their LBS1 with SPED certification.

Qualifications
•    LBS1 with SPED Certification

Job Details
•    Full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time
•    Working with students grades 5-8
•    Caseload is mostly academic (little behavioral issues)

SPED teaching job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
•    Working with and teaching a small group of students in and out of the classroom
•    Assessing student classwork
•    Designing and executing lesson plans
•    Developing and adapting to individualized teaching methods for each student
•    Using special tools and equipment to stimulate an engaging learning experience
•    Utilizing special skills to teach Braille, sign language, and lip reading 
•    Informing parents of child’s progress and providing recommendations for a better at-home learning environment
