Job Title: Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join a reputable school district in St. Paul, MN. If you have a 5-12th grade social studies license and experience teaching history, geography, and civics, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive social studies lessons for middle school students
Teach a variety of topics within social studies, such as history, geography, government, and economics
Use creative and interactive teaching methods to keep students actively engaged in learning
Facilitate class discussions and critical thinking activities
Assess students' understanding of the subject matter and provide timely feedback
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and support student success

Requirements:

Valid 5-12th grade social studies teaching license in Minnesota
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field
Experience teaching social studies at the middle school level is preferred
Strong knowledge of social studies curriculum and standards
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Passion for educating and inspiring young minds about the world around them
