- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Physics (e.g., ABR, CAMPEP accredited)
- Proven experience as a Medical Physicist or Physicist in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in quality assurance and calibration of radiation therapy equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and documentation practices
- Familiarity with treatment planning systems, imaging modalities, and dosimetry
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and accuracy of radiation treatments for patients, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- Calibrate, maintain, and conduct quality assurance testing for radiotherapy and imaging equipment
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and technical staff for optimal treatment planning and delivery
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, providing prompt resolution to maintain high standards of care
- Participate in implementing new technologies and protocols for continuous advancement of clinical operations
