Position: Registered Nurse

Unit: Operating Room

Location: Patchogue, NY

There is a facility in Patchogue, NY actively interviewing for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN). This is a 10-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

  • 10 Weeks
  • Days
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday shifts. On call required. 
  • Possible extension based on performance
  • EPIC experience required 

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or higher from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS/ACLS
  • New York RN License

Required for Interview:

  • Current Professional Resume
  • Clinical References
  • 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

  • Monitor patient under sedation
  • Communicate patient needs with O.R Team
  • Electronically document procedure
  • Maintain an organized and sterile work area
