Life Skills Teacher Opening Near Portland, OR
Sunbelt are seeking for a passionate and experienced Life Skills Teacher to assist a local district near Portland, OR. As a Life Skills Teacher, you will be responsible for helping students develop essential life skills that will prepare them for success in various aspects of their lives. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of life skills, strong teaching skills, and a commitment to improving students' lives.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that focus on developing life skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, goal-setting, and financial management.
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their life skills.
Encourage and motivate students to participate in various activities that will help them develop their life skills.
Collaborate with other teachers and educational professionals to develop life skills curriculum and integrate it into the overall education program.
Create a positive and safe learning environment that encourages students to take risks and learn from their mistakes.
Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and guardians to ensure that they are aware of the progress and development of their children.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
Relevant teaching experience in Life Skills or related subjects.
Deep knowledge and understanding of life skills and their importance in personal and professional development.
